چکیده
The aim of the study was to identify features cellular composition and cytokine profile bronchoalveolar lavage fluid in rats a model diet-induced metabolic syndrome. Materials methods. In an experiment on animals (rats), syndrome (MS) induced by high-fat high-carbohydrate diet reproduced. To assess viability reproduced model, biochemical morphometric methods were used, such as measurement body weight, specific gravity liver visceral fat, blood pressure, determination glucose concentration (including tolerance test), well lipid parameters. intensity inflammatory response blood, total protein, number leukocytes, levels immunocytokines (interleukin (IL)-6, IL-10, tumor necrosis factor (TNF)α, monocyte chemoattractant protein (MCP)-1) determined. Open performed isolated heart – lung complex. (IL-6, TNFα, MCP-1), ratio their morphological types determined (BALF). Results. with MS, increase leukocytes due granulocytes rise IL-10 revealed compared parameters controls. BALF analysis absolute alveolar macrophages, neutrophil granulocytes, lymphocytes. IL-6 MCP-1 more than 1.5 times higher. Conclusion. Changes qualitative quantitative are nature formed during systemic accompanying disorders modeling MS experiment.

Cytokine profile of bronchoalveolar lavage fluid in patients with combined pulmonary fibrosis and emphysema.
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE Combined pulmonary fibrosis and emphysema (CPFE) is characterized by upper lobe emphysema together with lower lobe fibrosis. The aim of this study was to examine whether cytokine levels in the alveolar space are associated with emphysematous changes superimposed on pulmonary fibrosis. METHODS Consecutive patients (n = 102), diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis were retro...
متن کاملUpregulation of Th1 cytokine profile in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid of patients with hypersensitivity pneumonitis.
The aim was to find out how the IL-12 and IL-18 levels in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) correspond to the inflammatory activity of the hypersensitivity pneumonitis (HP). We studied 12 patients with HP and 13 normal subjects. IL-12 and IL-18 levels were measured using ELISA kits. We found a significantly higher plasma angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) concentration (55 vs. 34 U/L, P=...
متن کاملCellular profile of bronchoalveolar lavage fluid in Turkish miners.
Pneumoconiosis is still a health problem in Turkey and has a relatively high incidence. Retired underground miners were investigated to document alveolitis, and to observe the difference in the cellular profiles of bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) fluid with or without pneumoconiosis. Twenty nine retired male miners and 17 controls, eight non-smokers (four male, four female) and nine smokers (six m...
متن کاملBronchoalveolar lavage fluid cytokine bead array profile for prognostication of ventilated trauma patients
AIM OF STUDY Ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) is a common cause of mortality in trauma patients admitted to Intensive Care Units. The outcome of such patients may be dependent on local host immune response, which may be best reflected in studies using bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) fluid. The present study was conducted to ascertain the cytokine profile of BAL using the cytometric bead array...
